All staff recruitment within NCTU is organised by the University of Nottingham Human Resources Department and members of the NCTU Unit Management team.
If you are successful with an application, upon appointment, you will receive a full induction programme. This will include ‘induction meetings’ with senior members of staff, familiarise with all NCTU Standard Operating Procedures and attendance at the School of Medicine Welcome Event. Identifying gaps in training is also part of the induction programme, and it is a mandatory requirement for staff to attend the in-house Fundamentals of Clinical Trials Course within the first 12 months of appointment.

The Nottingham Clinical Trials Unit employs around 90 staff, across a range of disciplines. Although staff are organised by teams, staff frequently work with people within other teams in the Unit, representing the multidisciplinary nature of clinical trials.
